Caesar stone, painting and clean bricks...

So much has happened at the house this past week, our build really is cracking along at a flying pace.
Our Caesar stone bench tops have been installed in the kitchen, bathroom and en-suite.
The painters moved in Friday and started their prep work to get ready for painting this week. Our bricks have been cleaned and now look fantastic and the front façade has had some work done on it.
Still no news on when our house will be finished but we have a Site meeting on Friday with our Site Supervisor so hopefully we will get a date then.

There has been so much movement at our place over the last week...

The render undercoat on the front has been done, the boarding above our windows is finished, the kitchen panel that was to short has been fixed, our down pipes have been mostly put up and we have a bath!
Unfortunately we are now locked out of our house and can't get in to have a look as the builders are locking every door and closing every window. Hopefully we will get a chance to go through soon as there is only so much you can see through dirty windows!

Lock up...

We are officially at lock up stage and have received our lock up invoice. With every big bill we get from the builder I get more and more excited because it means that we are getting closer and closer to moving into our brand new shiny house!

Not much has changed since the last update but we do have our Laundry trough installed as well as the last of our Architraves installed.

Our bricks are now officially finished and our site has been cleaned up. The correct architraves have been delivered and the wrong ones have all been ripped off. Unfortunately we have noticed a fault in the kitchen cabinet which we will have to tell our site supervisor about but other then that its been great. The house is really coming together so fast!

Oh nose wrong Architraves....

The bricks are almost done and our Architraves have been delivered and half put on.. Unfortunately they are the wrong architraves. I gave my site supervisor a call and he confirmed that the wrong ones had been delivered but can be fixed without much delay to our handover day so thats good news :D
