Australia Day bircks and cornices...

Headed to the house on Australia Day as I wouldn' get a chance to over the weekend and found the Bricky and his Apprentice working on the bricks, love it!

Other then the bricks almost being completed since last weekend, all the cornices have been put up inside and the plaster work looks like it has been sanded. So nit much of an update buy like usual here's a few photo's to keep it interesting :D

SO much work!!!

This weekend was going to be the first chance Peter and I have had to go and see the house since Christmas. We were going to wait until Saturday morning to go but decided on the way home from work that we couldn’t wait and went Friday night instead.. Just a little bit excited.
So much has changed and so much work has been done in the short time the tradies have been back after the Christmas break.

We now have bricks halfway up most of the exterior walls, insulation, plaster inside, the heating/cooling system has been fitter and a dew other minor changes...

Enjoy the incoming photo spam! :D

Brick delivery...

SO our bricks were delivered just before the builders went on Christmas break and I managed to squeeze in a sneaky visit to my house in the holiday period but haven't been able to find the time to update my blog... so be prepared for incoming photo overload...

We also have been fitted with all our external doors and our solar panel ready for our hot water service.

As I type this the bricky has already started laying (brick... not eggs, silly) and our heating and cooling was fitted out last week. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go up last weekend but will be visiting this Saturday if everything falls into place... So without further adieu, Photos!!!

Front of our house all ready to go for after christmas.

 Very sexy bricks ;)
Front door - this is the prep paint. The door will be painted a Gray colour... Not green!

I still can't get over the view from my bedroom :D
